Fr. Peter Clark

Fr. Peter Clark joined CBSM back in 2017 and has served as a teacher for both Years C & D. His personal motivation to teach comes from Christ’s calling to “ feed My sheep” (John 21:17).

Fr. Peter followed an unusual path to the priesthood, receiving multiple degrees in Medicine and working for many years as a doctor before returning to school and the Seminary. He was ordained to the priesthood for the Diocese of Lansing in 2002. Consequently, Fr. Peter brings a unique perspective to the classroom as both priest and physician!

His favorite Scripture is John 15:16 , “You have not chosen Me, I have chosen you.”

In his free time, Fr. Peter enjoys collecting vintage postcards, going fishing and performing in a bluegrass band. He is currently a Senior Priest for the Diocese of Lansing.

Fun Fact: Fr. Peter sings and plays the guitar, the 5 string banjo and the mandolin for a bluegrass band!
